New anime review for K-On!, the latest from Kyoto Animation.  It lacks the charm of Haruhi, the otaku humor of Lucky Star, and the deep story lines of AIR and Clannad, but it’s cute for what it is – a story of the friendships of a group of high school girls.  It does that very well, but don’t expect much else.

Also, I am frakkin’ old today.  But I got a decent haul of anime to show for it.  And Persona 4.  And my first Fraulein Revoltech figure (these things are completely awesome).  Though I’m not sure if it really makes up for the fact that I’m just 4 years shy of being 30.  ….  Typing that out makes me want to go curl up and cry.  I am going to go bury my sorrows in my Xbox.
