I know things have been quiet here lately and the lack of info hasn’t helped. Well I won’t bore you with alot of details, but lets just say for my part life has happened, laptops have been broken (still out for repair btw), deaths in the family, and just finally my new job has had some demanding weeks. However, hopefully this will be the week that I unleash the new surprise I have in store, so please bare with me just a bit more…It will be worth it!
However, it’s with great happiness that I can report that Ryan has made a full recovery and helps us kick this Monday off with a brand new Fajita!

Hey guys….I just wanted to make a quick announcement about Fajita. After 400+ comic since 2009 Ryan’s hand has finally revolted against him and has put him out of commission! Now don’t worry as it isn’t permanent…Here is Ryan’s post with the details.
I was told by my Doctor to take some time off from drawing. Seems I developed some kind of really, really bad cramp in the joints of my drawing arm over the past year. I was told it wasn’t carpal tunnel (thank you, God) or rheumatoid arthritis (thank you, THANK YOU, GOD), but it’s made working on the comics lately a bit difficult. I’m hoping it won’t take too awful long for things to heal back up (if I can pry myself away from the keyboard long enough), but for now it’ll mean things might slow down in this section of the Darkstar site for a bit. Sorry it had to happen in the beginning of the new chapter, but you can’t help it when things like this happen. I’ve talked to Mike about the situation and we’ll be planning to funnel some content here at Fajita periodically in the form of Guest art and the like. Either way, I recommend staying to tuned to the blog section here.
We are planning some fun things to keep things lively on the Fajita half of things and some other surprises in store to help give Ryan some time to get better…Thanks for your understanding in this matter and thanks for reading!

Hey folks! Been awhile since our last real front page blog post, but I promise there is more to come soon! We have some cool stuff for you in the coming months, but for now i wanted to take a moment to just throw out a reminder out about one of our favorite conventions that is coming up at the end of summer. Early in the year I mentioned we were taking a break from conventions, and while we have been to a couple of local cons we are still gearing up to have Darkstar rep at one of our favorite cons…Intervention Con!
Intervention has become one of our favorite conventions to attend as it’s a 100% webcomic supportive con! They of course have waaaaaay more to offer than just webcomics, but seeing as how we are a webcomic site, we like to drive that point home 
. Pre Reg is still going on for the low cost of just $40 for the whole weekend and that is a steal considering what other conventions charge these days. We have once again been invited back as guests and while I regrettably cannot attend this year, Ryan will be there in all his sexy glory to show people the way of Fajita and Darkstar!
Seriously, if you think you can get to Rockville MD for the weekend, I would because honestly…The panels themselves are well worth the price of admission. I have been doing cons since 2005 professionally and Intervention provides the BEST panel experiences just because of the smaller, intimate nature of the con itself…It really puts attendees at the center and involves them in the panels for very deep discussions.
